Alans world math counting app by Kiddom helps children learn to count from 0-10, compare numbers and quantities, sequences of numbers, identifying different counting puzzles.

Alan the Owl takes children on a fantastic learning adventure, to rescue his friends from the evil wrath of Dondo, by helping him learn about numbers and solving mathematical puzzles. Throughout the adventure, children learn the concept of a number, how it is counted, added, compared and read. Children go through 5 levels each set in a beautifully illustrated landscape with different themes, and each level teaches children core math activities.

Games and Levels
___________

Each level has 3 different difficulty levels and the children progress through from 1-3 based on their performance and progress.

1. Counting
In this activity, children are asked to count the number of specific objects they can see and to select the right answer from choices on the right. The activity gets harder as the child move along with objects appearing in different colors and sizes. Alan will provide hints and teaches them how to count throughout.

2. What does not belong
In this activity, children have to count the number of objects different groups and compare the quantities in each of them to determine which group has a different quantity of objects. The activity gets complex as objects are obstructed from view due to size and color changes, and children have to really concentrate to figure out the right group

3. Count each object Only Once
In this activity, children are taught how to count in geometric patterns. The idea is to have children count in a certain pattern without repeating the count and entering the answer from options on the right. As the number of objects in the patterns increase, the complexity of the activity also increases.

4. Compare numerals and quantities:
The goal of this game is to have the kids associate quantities with actual numerals by dragging the right numerals and placing them on top of the right quantities.

5. Match numeral to objects to unlock the code
This is the hardest activity of the app; in this level children have to unlock the rescue code of the jail cell by solving a puzzle. Each number is denoted by a character, and children have to make the right matches to figure out the code. This is a highly analytical activity, which teaches kids puzzle solving .
